Autonomous Operator

Koidra is a company specializing in physics model based autonomous software tailored for the manufacturing sector. Their focus is on creating low code solutions that optimize climate conditions, enhance yield, and reduce utility usage, ultimately driving efficiency and productivity within manufacturing operations.

Digital Health Platform

Mentore is a digital health and safety platform featuring proprietary wearables, software, & AI to connect and safeguard workers. Our platform helped improve production by 10%, while reducing injuries by 60%, & reducing turnover by 75%.

AI Drug prescription: Droice

Droice is a digital drug prescibing platform that was developed as a hackathon solution at Cornell Tech. I am no more associated with the idea though.

Digital Assembler

The bottleneck for any production process is the assembly step that controls the process rate, cost and complexity. For example, in the electronics industry, pick-and-place machines employed to mount various components on PCBs account for 50% of the total cost and time of a production line. The existing assembly technologies are in general serial, imprecise and non-scalable, which makes them costly and time consuming. This research demonstrates an economical and efficient pick-and-place device that works on the principle of electroadhesion. The technology is massively parallel, scalable and simpler than any existing method.

3D Printing for Space Exploration

"Imagining that something really sophisticated like an a spaceship could use 3-D printer to fix its broken actuators, it would be totally fantastical. None of us are imagining that 3D printing is convenient enough to be a true high-volume, low-cost form of manufacturing, but it allows for flexibility of teleoperation and making sophisticated components on demand as needed in extereme situations.

Digital Manufacturing: Coding Materials

In the process of learning Phase-Field method, I wrote a few finite difference based computer programs for simulating different kind of microstructures. These are well established Phase-Field models. I mean, they are not my original work; I have just coded these programs. There are two matlab files: allencahn.m and cahnhilliard.m, and rest are fortran codes: dendrite.f90, graingrwoth.f90. Matlab files, as their names suggest, they solve Allen-Cahn and Cahn-Hilliard equations. Among fortran codes dendrite.f90 is based on Kobayashi's paper and it simulates the growth of a dendrite in an undercooled liquid. graingrowth.f90 is based or Chen's model for grain coarsening.
